Holidays in Villabassa - Niederdorf

Did you know that …

The town of Villabassa in South Tyrol is not only one of the oldest resorts in Alta Pusteria, but is also considered the cradle of Tyrolean tourism? Emma Hellenstainer was the first to recognise the potential of Villabassa, and her pioneering attitude attracted many visitors and famous personalities from all over the world to come to this town in the splendid Val Pusteria. Holiday-makers of that time loved the fantastic setting for hiking, the fresh mountain air, the rolling pastures, the contrasting rock formations and the crystal clear lakes, to such an extent that they kept coming back. And who knows what you'll like best about your holiday in Villabassa

Highlights in Villabassa for …

Those in search of tranquillity, or lovers of culture & history. Villabassa is really the perfect place to relax, restore your energy, and breathe deeply. After all, the town is famous as a mountain health resort. It is also the site of the 1st "Kneipp für mich®" wellness village in Italy, located in a 5-hectare spa park with many other attractions. Cycle enthusiasts & keen mountain-bikers
Dolomiti Superbike: For the last 20 years, one of the toughest and most famous MTB races has been staged at Villabassa in South Tyrol. And when we say "tough", we really mean it. You can choose between 120 km + 3800-metre change in altitude (long route), or 60 km + 1700-metre change in altitude (short route).
- Are you looking for other challenges? Then try the Stoneman-Trail: at 115 km long and with a 4000-metre change in altitude, it's definitely not a stroll, but it can be done in several stages and the views are truly breath-taking.
- Don't worry - there are also some more leisurely cycle paths in Villabassa, such as the Puster Bike or the Drava Cycle Routes, which are suitable for the whole family.
NEW: You can store yur bike in our new bike room.
